This week we had to do some writing for our task, I chose to do horror. Here are some of my work while doing the story.

Story -

One eery night 3 friends Julie, Rae & Zack decided to go camping in a forest in the middle of nowhere. After hours and hours of driving to their location they decided to take a break at the side of the road merely away from the forest, as they were falling asleep Julie heard a whisper coming from outside of the car, She thought to herself that it was probably just her from all the hours of driving she must’ve just been hearing things, right?Morning struck and they were on the road again. As they were jamming to some music from the radio Julie remembered the whisper she heard last night, she quickly got it out of her head thinking she was just hallucinating last night. After an hour of driving they finally arrived to the forest. They decided to set up the camp, After hours and hours of setting up camp they were drained. As soon as the tents were set up they slept immediately until morning came. They woke up to the sun beaming into their eyes blinding them, Julie put her hat on and went outside to go and wake up her friends. After they were all awake they had some breakfast, But Julie heard the whisper again, this time coming from deep inside the woods, She quickly looked behind her, No one was there. Rae called her name repeatedly but Julie seemed to not hear her shouting her name, Rae tapped Julie's shoulder and it gave Julie quite a fright. As the hours passed night came and it was time to go to bed, As they were about to sleep Zack came to Julie and Rae’s tent. He woke them up and asked if they wanted to go with him and look around the forest, They both said yes. As they walked inside the forest Julie felt a chilling feeling, She looked at Zack and Rae and they also seemed to get the same feeling. They walked deeper and deeper…. Suddenly they heard a rustling in the forest, 3 of them came closer together and they felt as if someone was watching their every move. As they looked around Julie saw something from the corner of her eye, It was terrifying, It had a black foggy body and It had red beady eyes that looked as if you looked at it, it would stare straight into your soul. We desperately ran barely breathing, We screamed at the top of our lungs but it was no use, we were in the middle of nowhere not knowing where to go. As I looked to the left 1 of my friends had disappeared, I had no choice but to keep running. Julie stopped and hid behind a nearby rock and gasped for air. Julie looked to the right and saw Zack running past her, Julie couldn't help him because the creature was right behind him… The creature grabbed Zack and he suddenly disappeared, Julie covered her mouth to keep her from making any noise. While the creature was busy Julie took her chance and ran for her life, She saw smoke coming from the distance, It must be our campfire!  Julie ran and ran, she finally made it back, she felt relieved when she got out of the forest but didn't stop, instead grabbed her phone to call emergency services, As she waited for them to pick up she locked herself in the car. They finally picked up, she reported what happened, good thing the police station was only an hour away. She looked back to the forest and saw the creature looking straight at her, But the creature seemed to not be able to pass the forest. She sighed in relief and took a rest in her car. She woke up to sirens coming, She ran out of her car, It seemed like nobody noticed her, She shouted and shouted but no one heard her. She walked in front of someone but the person walked right into her, She started to panic and looked at her reflection in the side mirror of a car, But she couldn't see her reflection, It was then that she realised she was dead.

Wolves are very cute but they can also be dangerous. How can they be dangerous? Well there are a lot of reasons why they are dangerous. Here are some interesting facts I learnt while researching about wolves.

There are a lot of wolf breeds, some extinct, but the most dangerous type of wolf are gray wolves. Gray wolves can weigh from 75 lbs - 200 lbs, they’re length can be from 105-160 cm and they’re body height can go from 80-85 cm. Wolves are carnivores, they eat meat as they’re food source. Wolves can run as fast as 50 - 60 km/h.Wolves howl to assemble they’re pack, they usually howl before or after hunts. Wolves also have 200 million cent cells and they can smell something 1.75 miles away from them.

Sneaglegator - Working from home

This week for one of my tasks I decided to draw a sneaglegator. Now you might be wondering what a sneaglegator is,Sneaglegator are similar to snakes, eagles and alligators. They are the size of a cat and are covered with slimy scales and thick feathers. Adult sneaglegators are usually dark green they can use they're colour to camouflage in with greenery. Young sneaglegators are born with a blue tinge to their scales with no feathers. They are usually found in rain forests and they make nests high up in the trees. They hunt during the night making it hard for humans to spot them. Most rain forest animals usually adapt to the rain but sneaglegators hide under trees to keep they're feather dry. Sneaglegators usually don't need water because they get the moisture from they're prey. Sneaglegators are carnivores but they love eating bananas. Even though sneaglegators have big wings they cannot fly instead they jump from tree to tree. Very few humans have seen the sneaglegator but scientists believe that sneaglegators are harmless to humans. Due to their similarities to animals they are mistaken for another animal that people hunt.

Creative Writing - Working from home

Lost In The Forest.

(This week for my task from working from home I decided to do creative writing, I  chose this picture to make a story out of.) Me and my friend were on our way to visit one of our relatives that lives in a different city. We figured that we would just take our car to go to our relatives house. As we were driving we turned on the radio to listen to some tunes, We parked by the side or the road to take a rest, since we’ve been driving for a couple of ours now. A few hours went by… I suddenly woke up to a honking sound, I looked if anyone was behind us, sure enough there was a car coming right at us, I passed out due to the impact of the car hitting us. A few minutes passed…. I woke up to a high pitched buzzing sound in my ear, It took me a second to realise that we had crashed in the forest, I didn't know where and how far we were from the road. I woke up my friend as fast as I could, Thankfully she woke up and we checked if the man in the car that crashed into us was okay, but he was a goner, We sprinted as fast as we could to get away from the crashed cars because it looked as if they were going to explode any time soon. We finally found a place to rest for the night and decided to solve things tomorrow. Morning hit with the bright sun beaming into my eyes, I noticed the bruises and cuts on my body but at that point it didn't matter anymore, I was focused on getting out of the forest. My friend finally woke up and we tried to think of a plan on how to get out. As the hours passed by we we’re getting hungry our tummy hurt from the starvation, we tried to fight it but we couldn't, we desperately looked for food, after a few minutes of looking, we found some berry bushes and started eating them. It was the next day and we had finally thought of a plan, Our plan was that we would gather small stones and split up, we would then use the stones as a path to lead us back if we got lost, We used our shirts as a bag to carry the tiny stones with us. We both went in our own paths, it took me a while to find it but eventually I found it, I sprinted back and told my friend that I finally found the road, We sprinted back in a hurry to the road. Night approached as we waited for a car to pass by. I was about to fall asleep when I heard something coming from a distance, It was a car! Me and my friend waved the car down and he stopped to pick us up. We told him to call emergency services and asked if we could stay here until they came. As we waited the man gave us food to eat, As we were eating we heard sirens coming from the road, We waved it down and they came to us. They put me and my friend in the cabin of the ambulance van, we were so happy to finally be able to get home. After a few days our bruises and scratches were finally gone. We were lucky to have been able to survive the incident.

This week I made a poster about Our CARR values at our school. It is to show other people how to use our CARR values and to help them understand what CARR values are.

Mexican Quesadillas - Food tech (February)

This week on food tech we had Mexican week,
we cooked quesadillas and nacho mince but to day we are going to be talking about the quesadillas.
We went to food tech early so we could get started. First we prepared the fillings  to put in side the quesadillas, After we prepared the filling we started heating up the pan with oil to cook the quesadillas,
Once it was all heated up we yup the quesadilla in and started spreading the quesadilla with the oil, one we left it in for 1 minute the we put the filling in then we carefully spread the cheese in the middle of the quesadilla  and put the other side of the quesadilla on top of the filling. We checked if the quesadilla was golden brown and flipped it, we check if the other side was done and it was!
We repeated what we did with the other quesadilla, I couldn't wait to have a bite of it. Once we were all done we me and my team finally got to taste the quesadillas, They tasted  very delicious, I would recommend making them since they are very easy to make and very delicious, I would definitely make them in the near future.
