TUESDAY 26th REFLECTION - PLAYBACK

What game did I find challenging and why?
I found bench ball challenging because I  had to jump, pass, throw, catch ,run, communicate and listen to your team.

One of the goals was to listen... what skills do you need to be a good listener?
You needed to always stay focused so you can hear your team mates when they're passing the ball to you.


What communication skills did I need when playing bench ball?
You needed to be loud so your team mates can hear you and you also needed to be clear of what your saying so they can understand what your saying.



What skills do  need to work on for my next lesson?
I think I need to work on my catching skills next time we play bench ball.

What personal goal do I need to work on today?
Hopefully I can improve on my communication skills and focus on the game instead of chatting.

Today we played bench ball and silly bananas in the court.

I enjoyed bench ball the most because it had a lot of communication and a lot of teamwork.

To be a good listener you need to be focused on what people are saying to you,you need to look at them because it shows that you listening.

What communication skills do I need?
You needed to have a loud and clear voice so your team mates can hear you and you also needed to be a good listener so when they are passing the ball to you you'll know.

What skill do I need to work on for my next lesson?

Next time we play bench ball i'd like to work on my catching skills.

Movie magic

We've done 1 minute movies and my groups genre was horror.

We needed to be in a group of three I had Qyn and Janel in my group, I was the school girl, Qyn was the scary girl and Janel was the recorder.

A few weeks later we did a storyboard and we needed to do the same film except we only needed to improve our movie.

Our current movie script is about Rapunzel but with a twist,

In our Rapunzel movie Flynn was the bad person and Mother Gothel was the good person.

We also learnt about film angles like close up, third person, first person, over the shoulder and Normal angle.

We learnt that when you add different types music it changes the movie for example if you added a scary sound to a comedy movie it changes the movie. Me and my group didn't add and music cause we used our original sound from our film.

My goals

My goals are,

I need to act less childish and more responsible when someone is or not watching.

I need to be less shy and ask questions when I need help.

I should try harder and focus on my work and finish it in the time I am given.

A & P Show

A & P Show

You should definitely go to the A & P Show because

there are loads of different farm animals that you can pet like soft llamas, swirly tailed piglets, floppy eared bunnies, hairy guinea pigs, huge horses, fluffy sheep,and noisy cows. You can watch muscular people cut hard wood super fast with sharp axes. You can win a bunch of cool prizes and get loads of  stickers. You can also watch motorbikes go as fast as a jet. They also do back flips on tall dirt hills shaped like ramps. You will also see horse back riding and horses doing various different tricks.

There are also a lot of food stands filled with delicious food.

But the animal cages smell like old garbage because of the poop around the place. If you’re unlucky you might step on animal poop. Ooh!

All the reason apart from the poop is why I think you should go to the A & P Show!
