Hunt for the Wilder people / Writhing a paragraph (Paragraph 1)

Kia Ora! Today we will be talking about Hunt For The Wilder People, me and my class have been learning about this film throughout the whole term. All of us have been working hard to be able to get a good paragraph out of this experience, we had a to o lots of tasks to finish this and we finally achieved our end goal!

Most things I learned about this experience are camera angles and lighting, These sort of effects can really help set the mood weather it be horror or romance. I also learned about conflict and chaos and the different conflicts there are with everyone. Another thing I learned was about writing a SEXXXY paragraph, this helped me do my paragraphs without a worry throughout the whole term!

This experience has helped my writing because, we had to write a lot and all of these writings had to have good grammar. I learned a few more things I needed to know to be able to do a great paragraph.  This helped my writing because I can now write more clearly and more proper.

My favourite part of the film study was learning about the characters and making paragraphs for them, I liked doing this because we got to watch a movie about an interesting boy who has a new foster home but it took a turn. While watching the film (Hunt For the Wilder People) I learnt a lot about their angles and how it affected the mood. Writing about the characters were really fun because we got to learn new things about them that we might've missed from the movie.

Here is my last paragraph that I did for this.

I chose to do topic number one. My topic is to talk about our protagonist of the film which is Ricky, I will be describing his character development throughout the film and how he has changed during those times.
As seen on the first few parts of the film Ricky was shown to be a bad kid or as he had said he considered himself a “Gangster”. He was causing chaos for his past foster parents and his current, most of the people he had met knew him for being bad. He was spat, graffiti, stole, ect almost everywhere he went, so as you can tell he has a lot to improve on. It was difficult for him to find a home because of all of the mess he’s got himself into, even if he found a new welcoming home he would run away. In the last few minutes of the film you can really tell how much he’s changed, he seems to be a lot nicer and doesn't do any illegal things anymore and has seemed to accept his new family. He’s learned to be more calm and be aware of the people surrounding him and their feelings, it seems that he has become more mindful of the people around him.
This film was very inspirational to watch and I think everyone felt the same because we got to see a troubled kid finally find his happy place,it really does goes to show that people can change even if they are really bad. While watching this audience probably felt happy for him to find his family.
I think he added this character development for the movie to be more exciting by seeing someone change. His growth was important because it would be a bit boring if he stayed the same throughout the film.
Around the ending of the film, Ricky and hec are shown sitting down and having a wee chat with each other. I think they chose to do the medium close up angle to show the characters expressions. For the lighting on that part of the film, I think they chose it because it matched the mood, Sort of grey.
In conclusion my opinion on this film is that it was a great film, there was a lot of character development and not only on Ricky but other characters too. In my opinion they could’ve made it more exciting by adding more intense moments through their adventures. Either way i still like the film very much and how they chose to do the camera angles and lighting.

A highlighted version for the
