Gravity

Gravity

By - Faye

Is gravity the same on all planets?

Gravity is what holds our world together, But it isn't the same everywhere on earth. Gravity can be slightly stronger over places with more mass underground then places with less mass.

How is gravity related to mass?

Gravity is the attractive pull between to objects that have mass. The strength of gravity depends on how much mass is in that object.

Calculate your weight on the other planets in our system (If you're not sure what your mass is, use a 30kg Labrador retriever).

If you are 30kgs your weight will be 4.98kgs on the moon but on the sun you will weigh 812.16kgs, This will not change your weight but it will just make you feel that you weigh this much because of the gravity and your mass.

How would your life be different if you lived on a planet with higher gravity? With lower gravity?
If we were to live on a planet with lower gravity the air would change as well, The air would decrease compared to the air we are breathing now and it would make it hard to breathe. Yes we may be able to live in a place that has higher gravity, As long as it is not too different from what we have here on earth. Although we may have increasing join problems and would probably face fatal injuries from falling. We may only be able to adapt to this if you develop muscles.

Inclusiveness post - Wga

Today we are going to be talking about inclusiveness.

How has this made you feel?

To me inclusiveness means not judging based off of what you see, Including other people even if they are different form you. What does inclusiveness mean to you?

Whenever I see certain people on social media get shamed based off of how they look or what country they are from. I feel bad because there is nothing I can do about it, I felt that they did not deserve the treatment that is being given to them just because of their ethnicity.

Are you or someone you know being judgemental? Do you think that this is an issue in relationships of any kind?

it may hurt the other persons feelings. I also think we judge people based off of what other people

tell us or what we see on social media.

Avoiding judgement of others is very important because...

It could lead into an argument, We also do not know what is going on in the other persons life. Although it may be hard we should really try to get to know someone before judging them.

Have your thoughts changed during this lesson on inclusion?

Yes my thoughts have changed and I have realised how much other people suffer because oh their ethnicity and how people generalise them.

How will you respond now in situations if you were faced with them again?

I would definitely try not to judge them or if they are being judged try to stick up for them.

Video Games

Video games are a form of electric entertainment that allows a person to play on a device such as computers, Consoles or mobile devices. The first video game was developed in the 1940s. By 2019, the video game industry had grown to a multi billion dollar business. Despite all of the success some people criticise it for the violence or the fact that video games may lead to addiction or obesity. It is crazy how much the video game community has grown, from simple and basic dots and lines to beautiful, colourful and detailed games that looks as if it were real life. There are now many many video games out there, Like online or multiplayer, Video games are fun to play with friends.Video game addiction: China imposes gaming curfew for minors | RNZ News
